Life
Hi to all of my fellow graduates from good old K-dub! I am writing this from Littleton, Colorado where I have been living for the past 16 years. I am the Director of a private Christian school,just named "Best of the Best" for children 3 to 6. (240 students and 30 on staff!) It has been a very rewarding career. I am single and am almost a 3 year Breast Cancer survivor! I have two incredible sons, Dain (27)is a Youth Minister in Rogers, MN. and sings with the National Lutheran Choir. Derek (24,) is completing his education in Minnesota at Bethel College. He lives with his brother and when not in class is working with his brother doing Jr. High ministry and also working at a Presbyterian Church for a program called Upper Room which is an incredibly dynamic ministry for 20's and 30's..remember when we were that age? Can you tell Mom is very proud? I have moved into a new townhome, down sizing is hard! I am looking forward to more time for fun and less ...Expand for more
time on lawn work and shoveling snow! I love to bike ride, do creative arts of all kinds and snoop in antique stores and flea markets.I am singing with the Littleton Chorale which has proved to be really challenging but great fun! I also love to spend time with my great friends. I'm the wedding coordinator for my church and am getting re-involved with doing plays again. (Yes they still have parts for us older ones!) Lots to keep me out of trouble. My parents still live in Casper in the same house I grew up in. My brother Jeff is also still in Casper. I try to get home as much as possible and like to watch Casper change and grow. My cousin Dana Howie and her husband Jerry both teach at KW and so I get caught up on how things have changed. I am really glad I don't have teenagers these days. I would love to hear from 67 grads of Kelly Walsh. We had great times! Can't wait to see you all at the reunion in August!
